Our Wedding!

A few people have asked that I share some of OUR wedding photos  :)

Scott and I were married November 24, 2011 ( Thanksgiving Day!) at Barnsley Gardens in Adairsville, GA. We had a very small wedding with only 10 guests plus our two dogs. It was perfect!
All photos taken by the very talented Christine Gallagher Photography.

It was very important to me that our dogs, Laverne & Henrietta, be at our wedding!

In my 24 years, I have never wanted anything more than my own pair of Ruby Red Slippers. I figured my wedding was the right time to wear them!

My sister, Emily.

We were married on my parents 28th wedding anniversary.

Scott!

Emily played ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ when I walked down the aisle.

Our ceremony was held in the ruins of Barnsley Manor.

During the ceremony, we passed our wedding bands around for everyone to touch with their love.

Scott and I privately wrote our own vows to be read to each other during the ceremony. I loved what Scott wrote to me and I thought I would share it:

While assisting you at somebody else’s wedding this year, I asked you what I could do to help you best…
You said “You can stand near me, hold my bag, and give me what I need.”
Well, today… At OUR wedding… I can tell you this:
I will always stand near you. Through all the highs and all the lows, I will stand by your side. Whatever life gives us, I’ll be right there with you through it all.
I will always hold your bag. Whatever burdens you have, I promise to help you shoulder them. Working together, nothing will be too much to bear.
I will always give you what you need. No matter what it is, if you tell me you need it, I will find a way to get it for you. Your happiness is my happiness.

Every one who attended our wedding!

We had a lovely private dinner following the ceremony.

A here are a couple cake cutting shots my dad took for us later in the evening:

Thank you to everyone for your sweet comments! We had a great honeymoon in Costa Rica!
